Jeremy Kerrison read French, Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Salford, England, graduating with a 2:1 in 1985. Since completing his studies, Jeremy has spent a number of years living abroad, including five years in the south of France, as well as periods of residence in Paris, Spain, Portugal, the United States and Canada. An experienced linguist, Jeremy has translated the Michelin Green Guides to Spain, Portugal and Andalucía, and is the co-author (with Helen Isaacs) of The Practical Guide to Toulouse/Midi-Pyrénées, now in its second edition. For the past fifteen years he has worked as a freelance tour guide in France, Spain and Portugal for prestigious companies such as Abercrombie & Kent and Page & Moy. In addition, he has also guided tours to North and South America (including two forays into the Amazon), and has led one round-the-world trip. In recent years, Jeremy has worked as an onboard speaker on several cruises to Spain, Portugal and Morocco and has lectured to the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) on the art and architecture of Central Spain.		Helen Isaacs read French and Italian at the University of Reading, England, graduating with a 2:1 in 1984. She then went on to further her language studies at the University of Kent at Canterbury, where she successfully completed a post-graduate diploma in translating in 1985. Helen has spent long periods of residence abroad, including a year teaching English in Geneva and five years in the south of France, where she worked as a translator and taught at the ENAC and ENSICA Grandes Ecoles. She has also lived in Siena, Rome, Aix-en-Provence and the United States. Since developing her translation career, Helen has worked on many of the Michelin Green Guides to Italy and has recently translated the new Michelin Green Guide to Egypt. She is the co-author (with Jeremy Kerrison) of The Practical Guide to Toulouse/Midi-Pyrénées, now in its second edition. For the past fifteen years she has worked as a freelance tour guide in France, Italy and Switzerland for prestigious companies such as Abercrombie & Kent and Page & Moy. Recent trips have included walking tours in Tuscany and the French Alps.
